On 11th of June 2025, the HARPOCRATES project will take part in a dedicated event in Zaragoza, Spain, titled Personas que hacen el cambio (“People Who Drive Change”). The event is organized by the Gobierno de Aragón, with HARPOCRATES as a key promoter, alongside project partners and collaborators S2 Grupo, SARGA, and SDA.
The event will bring together individuals and institutions working to improve public administration through the responsible use of design, technology, and artificial intelligence. It will focus on practical examples of how digital transformation and privacy-preserving technologies can be applied to create more transparent, efficient, and citizen-oriented services.
Luis Búrdalo (S2Grupo), PhD in Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence from the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), worked for 11 years as a researcher in the fields of AI and real-time systems. He joined S2Grupo in 2016, where he now leads the AI team.
As part of Personas que hacen el cambio, he will present the HARPOCRATES project and share results from one of its most relevant case studies, developed in close collaboration with the Government of Aragón. SARGA, a public company in Aragón, will share its experience from the regional perspective, while SDA will contribute to the event’s design and public engagement aspects.
Personas que hacen el cambio reflects HARPOCRATES’ broader commitment to fostering secure-by-design solutions and promoting collaboration between technology providers and public institutions. It creates space for dialogue, learning, and cross-sector exchange around privacy, AI, and administrative innovation.
The event is open to professionals working in public sector transformation, digital innovation, and data protection. It will take place in Zaragoza, bringing together local and European stakeholders to explore solutions that are already shaping the future of public service.
