The HARPOCRATES project will take part in the Security Research Event (SRE) 2025, which will be held on 24–25 June 2025 at EXPO XXI in Warsaw, Poland. Organized by the European Commission and the European Research Executive Agency (REA), SRE is the flagship event for security research in Europe.
Each year, SRE brings together policymakers, researchers, industry representatives, practitioners, and civil society actors involved in EU-funded security projects. The 2025 edition will focus on current challenges and future directions for security innovation in the EU, covering areas such as crisis management, border security, cybersecurity, infrastructure resilience, and civil protection.
This year’s event will feature:

A dedicated Demo Area showcasing live project results

The Security Innovation Award ceremony

Participation of European Commissioner Magnus Brunner, who will take part in official programme sessions
Where to Find HARPOCRATES
HARPOCRATES will be located in Hall 3, Booth 50, under the thematic area Increased Cybersecurity (CS).
Tamas Kiss and Ana Kovacevic will represent the project on-site. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about the project’s approach to privacy-preserving data sharing and secure data workflows. Discussions will focus on how HARPOCRATES supports data protection in domains such as healthcare and public sector research, through the use of functional encryption, secure federated processing, and responsible data governance.
Materials, including a project brochure and information on ongoing technical work and use case development, will be available at the booth.
