On 19 March 2024, the HARPOCRATES project was presented at the SET Tech Festival 2024, held in Berlin, Germany. The event, organized by Startup Energy Transition (SET), gathered innovators, entrepreneurs, industry representatives, and policymakers to showcase technologies and business models driving the global energy transition.
Stefano Cucchiella, representing CanaryBit, introduced the HARPOCRATES project and its work on privacy-preserving data analytics. The presentation focused on how HARPOCRATES applies advanced cryptography, such as homomorphic encryption and functional encryption, to enable secure collaboration on sensitive data in sectors like cybersecurity and healthcare.
By demonstrating the project’s approach to secure data sharing—where data remains encrypted during processing—HARPOCRATES contributed to the broader discussion on digital trust and security in the context of sustainable energy innovation.
